Team working
We
will mainly collaborate! So, we will work together and use different skills to
do different things, i.e. one person might be really good at editing videos and
someone else is good at animating, they can then create a video that features
animation.
We need
to focus on conflict resolution. Conflicts can happen often in a group project,
so we have to make sure to deal with it quickly to ensure that it doesn’t
affect the group and work. Some ways to deal with conflict is to communicate
about the topic of the conflict and decide on what should be done through the
team. Also make sure to listen to the other person if you are part of the
conflict, as this will allow them to feel like they are valued in the team.
There
should be a set leader, this is because there needs to be someone that is able
to objectively decide on things, such as if there is a conflict they are the
person that should help to solve it. The roles of the leader will be to make
sure that the group members are doing their set tasks and work, and to ensure
that everyone has a fair amount of work. Without a leader the group could risk
falling apart.
Co-operation
is key when working in a team. This means that we must be willing to do work
that we may not want to do but is important to the group overall.
Communication,
Consensus and Contracting, are all vital to group works. Consensus means that
we have a general agreement, that can then be decided upon in further detail,
this will help there to be less conflicts about opposing opinions about the
task. Contracting is where the group all agree on things, this is helpful for
coming up with the whole idea, or even smaller details.
We
should work to get to know each other, this will help us as a group because it
means that we will know each other’s personality types and how they work on
projects.
Everyone
in the group needs to take responsibility otherwise it won’t work out.
