Initial idea for poster

The initial idea 

For the project it was decided that me and Sophie Knight were going to do two posters between us. The posters were going to be based on the city and are going to be advertising the city instead of focusing on the people like the video does.

We wanted the style of the posters to be quite cartoony, as this was the style that the character drawings and cityscape looked. The color scheme is light pastel colours to match the character drawings that were done in water colours. We chose the font, it is BD Nipper 2005, it is going to be red with a black back shadow added, we chose red as it will contrast with the pastel colours used for the rest of the poster, also the black shadow will make it stand out more and make it look more 3D.
